Animal Attacks
Psychological, as well as Physical Scars
Being attacked by an animal is not only a matter of possible physical injuries, but also the trauma that it might cause in later life, especially for children. As this is a specialist area, it is best to talk to out trained team.

Focus on Dogs
You are more likely to be attacked by a dog, than other animals. So many of our work is for people that have been attacked by out of control dogs which, by law, should be not be allowed, by their owners, to attack a person, or another animal. Indeed, those dogs which are classified as dangerous, within The Dangerous Dogs Act, should be muzzled when out in the street and care taken with their handling. Likewise with guard dogs, which should not be allowed to injure anyone.
But anyone claiming has to bear in mind that for the claim to be successful, generally, the dog has to have shown signs of violent behaviour on previous ocassions. There is some leeway for an ‘out-of-character’ attack, or where the dog has been provoked.
