Whiplash

Whiplash is not just about being jolted forward in a car accident. It can be caused by doing something quite innocent, such as holding a phone to your ear for long periods of time, and suffering strain in the necfile:///C:/Documents%20and%20Settings/faisal/Desktop/JDI.txtk.

The symptoms of whiplash include neck stiffness, muscle spasms, dizziness, shoulder pain, tiredness and blurred vision.

The jolt of the head following a crash in a car is the commonest cause of whiplash. It comes from the sudden movement of the head which damages the muscles in the neck.

One of the unfortunate things about whiplash is that it can take days to appear and gradually gets worse. Often people will say they are okay after an accident, but then notice their pain increasingly over time.

With whiplash, it is important to not delay, but act quickly.
